Abstract

Provides a comprehensive guide to the different types of signs and markings used on roads in Ireland, including layout, symbols, and circumstances for use. Also covers temporary traffic signs for use at work sites on public roads.

Document History

Supersedes DOELG Traffic signs manual. Chapter 8 - Signs for roadworks 1996, and NRA TD 49/03. The manual is currently being revised and will be published as ten separately bound chapters by the Department of Transport. To be read in conjunction with the other chapters of the DOELG Traffic Signs Manual. Includes Addendum published 2010.
