Describes progress made since the Energy White Paper was published in 2003, specifically during the reporting period 24 February 2004 to 23 February 2005 towards: cutting the United Kingdom’s carbon emissions; maintaining the reliability of the UK’s energy supplies; promoting competitive energy markets in the UK; and reducing the number of people living in fuel poverty in the UK.
