Reports on a project which set out to develop a better understanding of how regional planning has arisen as a policy area within the UK with regard to regional initiatives such as the creation of Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and their Regional Economic Strategies (RESs), well as major strategies such as RESs, RSDFs and RPG.
