Abstract

Comprises an annex listing strategies and plans for protecting and improving the environment, a policy in the UK Government's 25 year plan to protect and enhance the natural environment. The plan focuses on a set of 10 goals to be achieved through six key policies including: using and managing land sustainably; recovering nature and enhancing the beauty of landscapes; connecting people with the environment to improve health and wellbeing; increasing resource efficiency, and reducing pollution and waste; securing clean, productive and biologically diverse seas and oceans; protecting and improving the global environment.
