Abstract

Provides guidance for complying with the energy efficiency requirements of the building regulations, in particular the conservation of fuel and power for dwellings. Covers the energy performance of dwellings calculations and requirements, calculating the rates for target primary energy, target emission rate, target fabric energy efficiency rate, the dwelling primary energy rate, the dwelling emission rate and dwelling fabric energy efficiency rate, high-efficiency alternative systems, limiting heat gains and losses, fixed building services energy efficiency and controls, pressure testing, air permeability, commissioning, and information.
