Abstract
These guidance notes are intended to cover multi discipline, complex, modularised assemblies, which are prefabricated off site. Intended for use by all disciplines and participants in the construction process. Also includes a simple check list and flow diagram for use by the Project Group, Manufacturers and Contractors.

The Heating and Ventilating Contractors' Association represented those responsible for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration products and equipment. HVCA changed name to the Building and Engineering Services Association (B&ES) on Thursday 1 March 2012.
