Abstract

Relates to the streamline CAP (Continuous Aeration Process) sewage treatment system for single dwellings to serve a population equivalent of up to 7 persons. The streamline sewage treatment system is a combined aerobic/anaerobic system which provides treatment for all liquid waste water from the household. The combined capacity of both tanks is in excess of 3765 litres, thus providing up to 48 hours retention time in the treatment system at peak hydraulic loading. After treatment the liquid is discharged by gravity or pumped to the percolation system.
