Abstract
Illustrates the suitability of using precast concrete paving for external surfaces and how it meets the demands of current planning policy. Looking at the National planning policy framework, the Manual for streets 2, home zones and other guidance. Considers sustainable drainage, principles, characteristics and design, performance, permeable paving and precast paving products (block paving, flag paving, kerbs and enhanced finishes), techniques and accessible design.
