Summarises the main themes from the seminar's presentations. Explores levers for change and trends in healthcare delivery patterns such as the impact of demography, ideology, technology and economics on health care patterns in the UK, as well as possible and optional locations for some key elements of service delivery within the organisation of the NHS as a whole. Also considers the subsequent impact on healthcare building design.
