Abstract

Gives guidance on facilities for surgical procedures in all healthcare settings. This volume describes the facilities required to support in-patient operating theatres in an acute general hospital. It is based on a department with eight operating theatres, each with an anaesthetic room and a preparation room, and one recovery unit.
