Abstract

Applies to pipes made from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (Type 100) for use in cold water supply. The designation (Type 100) is an indication of the recommended maximum working stress for the material expressed as the force in kilograms weight per square centimetre (kgf/cm²) at 20°C when in pipe form. Also covers distribution and service pipes of one class and water main pipes of three classes.
