Abstract

Gives general basis for the design of buildings and civil engineering works in reinforced, unreinforced, prestressed and confined masonry.

Amendment A1 dated November 2012. The recent amendment to this standard resulted in the need to withdraw the previous NA, the relevant NSAI committee is working on a new version at present in the meantime they have issued a new National Foreword. Supersedes IS ENV 1996-1-1:1996, IS ENV 1996-1-3:1998, IS 325-1:1986, IS 325-2:1995 and IS 326:2004.
