Abstract

Gives guidance on properties which will/do generate wastewater that will not be/are not connected to the public foul sewer, explaining legal, operation and maintenance obligations.

Supersedes Pollution Prevention Guidelines 4: Treatment and disposal of sewage where no foul sewer is available (EA, 2006). Published November 2017. Does not apply in England. Guidance for Pollution Prevention is a new series replacing Pollution Prevention Guidelines.
