Abstract
Sets out the overall spatial strategy for the North East and its main policy areas. The vision and strategy for the North East is for the sustainable development of the region based on four key themes; Regeneration, Opportunity, Accessibility, and Conservation. Covers the Local Strategy; Environment; Employment; Housing; Transport; Minerals, Waste and Energy; and Monitoring.
