Abstract

Concerned with the procedural aspects of dealing with the examination of development plan documents (DPDs). Provides a revised model form (and model note) for the gathering of representations at publication stage. Covers: submission (weeks 0-2); preparation and initial examination (weeks 3-7); the pre-hearing meeting (week 8); before the first hearing sessions (weeks 9-14); hearing sessions (week 14 onwards); report writing (week 17 onwards); delivery of fact check report to LPA (week 26); delivery of final report (week 29); and exceptional procedures including exploratory meetings, suspension, withdrawal and technical sessions.
