Abstract

Supplements text from Approved Document B Volume 2 (2013 revision) with additional text, tables and diagrams to cover relevant property protection and business interruption issues. Intended to provide loss prevention guidance for those who design, construct and equip industrial and commercial buildings. This edition includes revised insurance providers’ requirements, updated to reflect modern methods of construction, the green agenda and modular construction, and a new appendix dealing with the protection of buildings made of combustible structure (such as timber).
