Abstract

Explains why EPCs have been introduced, what information will be shown on the certificate, how and where an EPC is obtained, the relationship between EPCs and building warrants, what to do with an EPC, asset ratings and cost-effective improvements, and when to update an EPC. Addresses replacement EPCs, multiple occupancy buildings, mixed purpose buildings, large buildings, and additional information to supplement an EPC.
