Abstract

Updates JCT provisions and notes for attestation to facilitate an additional (third) method of execution as a deed - method (C), signature by a single Director - which has been introduced by section 44(2)(b) of the Companies Act 2006.

JCT 2005 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2011. Issued February 2008 in anticipation of legislation coming into effect 1 April 2008.
