Abstract
Aims to provide advice on the range of powers available to planning authorities within the current legislative framework. This advice will be relevant in: the framing of enforcement policy; investigating allegations of unauthorised development; considering whether to take enforcement action and using enforcement notices; considering whether to issue breach of condition notices, considering whether to use Direct Action or Interdict; and deciding whether to prosecute.
