Abstract

Contains requirements for quality management systems to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 for Organisations undertaking the installation of vehicle parapets for bridges, retaining walls and other highway structures. It is applicable to the installation of new parapets and repairs to existing. The parapets will form a road restraint system (or part of a road restraint system), which may include additional protection and restraint for pedestrians and other road users.
