Abstract

Provides further guidance on economic development to support Planning Policy Wales Chapter 7 Economic Development, to be considered by local planning authorities when they prepare Local Development Plans (LDPs) and make decisions on planning applications. Covers: planning economic development at a strategic level; working with neighbouring authorities and relevant stakeholders; identifying and assessing economic benefits of development proposals; and establishing an evidence base to help prepare economic development policies for LDPs. Includes annexes.
