Abstract

This Welsh Approved Document gives guidance for compliance with the Building Regulations for building work carried out in Wales, supporting Regulation 7 (Materials and workmanship).

Document History

Superseded by Approved Document to support Regulation 7: Materials and workmanship (2013 edition incorporating 2020 amendments) (For use in Wales). Supersedes: ODPM Building Regulations 2010: Approved Documents 7 Materials and workmanship: Approved document to support Regulation 7 (incorporating 2000 amendments). Came into effect 1 September 2013. It does not apply to building work carried out on excepted energy buildings in Wales as defined in the Welsh Ministers (Transfer of Functions) (No.2) Order 2009.
