Abstract

Provides guidance on the design of active travel routes in Wales so that: more people can experience the health benefits of active travel; greenhouse gas emissions are reduced; poverty and disadvantage are addressed; and sustainable economic growth is unlocked. To be used by those involved in the planning, design, approval, construction and maintenance of active travel networks and infrastructure; as well as professional staff working for those responsible for creating, modifying and managing the built environment.
