Abstract

Discusses the health implications of the use of EPDM flexible ‘rubber’ hoses when these come into contact with water intended for drinking and other domestic purposes. Considers the cause for concern, the regulatory status in relation to the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, the legal requirement, and compliance and controls.
