Abstract

Provides updated guidance for the planning, design and construction of foul and surface water gravity sewers, lateral drains, pumping stations and rising mains to adoptable standards. The 2011 changes implemented a transfer of responsibility to water and sewerage companies for sewers connected to the public sewer system in England and Wales. Also provides the industry recommendations, civil engineering specification and the specification for pumping stations.
