To move your NBS Scheduler standalone licence to a new PC or network licence to a new server, NBS need issue a new unlock code.
This is because the licence is tied to the location it was originally unlocked to.
- (Network licences only) Replicate the licence location on the new server (keep the folder structure and ensure your users have a minimum of ‘Modify’ permission).
- Do not copy the licence file (Licstore.mgw) to the new server – this is server specific and will be invalid on the new server.
- Before you disconnect from the old server or decommission the old PC, please call NBS Software Support to de-activate the existing licence.
- Contact NBS Software Support to transfer licence to the new server or PC (can be done at the same time as point 3 above).
