To move your NBS Scheduler standalone licence to a new PC or network licence to a new server, NBS need issue a new unlock code. 

This is because the licence is tied to the location it was originally unlocked to.


  1. (Network licences only) Replicate the licence location on the new server (keep the folder structure and ensure your users have a minimum of ‘Modify’ permission).
  2. Do not copy the licence file (Licstore.mgw) to the new server – this is server specific and will be invalid on the new server.
  3. Before you disconnect from the old server or decommission the old PC, please call NBS Software Support to de-activate the existing licence.
  4. Contact NBS Software Support to transfer licence to the new server or PC (can be done at the same time as point 3 above).
