Our 2024 Construction Leaders’ Summit provided an opportunity for construction professionals to come together and discuss the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation on the industry. This discussion was kickstarted by a fascinating keynote speech on AI delivered by Karen Burns, CEO and Co-Founder at Fyma – an AI and computer vision company.
Karen presented insights into the fastest growing areas of AI adoption, examples of harnessing new technology to tackle sustainability and building safety, and her advice for upskilling workforces. Her keynote also addressed the gap between personal adoption of AI tools and company-wide use of AI within construction systems and processes, highlighting the opportunities which therefore exist for early adopters.
