NBS and the Golden Thread of Information

Almost three years have passed since Dame Judith Hackitt’s interim report 'Building a Safer Future' was published by the Government, highlighting many failings in the industry and putting forward recommendations for better practice. One recommendation that received significant attention was the need for a golden thread of information.

Many of the proposed recommendations are now either in development or fully implemented. NBS has been involved in two main developments, the Code for Construction Product Information led by the Construction Product Association and the Golden Thread Initiative led by L&Q.

During our webinar, NBS’ Dr Stephen Hamil and Lee Jones will take a deep dive into these developments and discuss how they might impact both specifiers and suppliers of construction materials. Throughout the session, practical examples will be provided to demonstrate how NBS can help support the industry to deliver safer buildings.
