Our list of NBS and industry speakers is growing every day, but here are some to look forward to:

Richard Waterhouse, CEO of NBS

Richard will be giving delegates a warm welcome and providing some key insight into the company journey in 2018 so far. This includes news of our £31.8m investment and the launch of our first cloud-based specification platform, NBS Chorus.

Tom Murphy and Andrew De Silva (Das), DMA Architects

Tom’s strength lies in taking complex, large scale projects from inception to completion and he leads on a range of projects across the office. His extensive experience and thoughtful approach enable him to develop solutions together with clients, other consultants and suppliers to achieve the best outcomes. Tom is passionate about the use of digital tools to benefit the design and construction process and regularly speaks at industry events about the application and benefits of this in practice.

Das focuses on innovation, quality and risk management throughout the practice. He leads strategic R&D projects to create new solutions and services. As a key player in the practice’s adoption of BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology he regularly speaks on digital design and construction at industry events.

Matt Holmes, Associate Director at JDDK

Since joining JDDK in 2004, Matt has worked on a diverse range of projects from housing developments, bespoke housing for single clients, schools, and more recently large scale projects in the public and healthcare sectors. Matt has been involved in 3D design since 2008 and helped to develop the practice’s skills and work in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and has particular experience in the use of Revit software and specification tools.

Peter Fisk, Associate, Lovelock Mitchell

Peter has over 10 years’ experience working across multiple sectors including education, residential and extra care. Peter joined Lovelock Mitchell in 2013 and has since become an Associate, jointly managing the outputs of the LMA Education team. He has been instrumental in formalising the practice’s BIM processes and standards over the past five years, helping ensure that the practice is at the top of the market. Peter has worked closely with regional contractors, local authorities and other consultants, ensuring that their BIM Processes and documentation meet the necessary standards to achieve BIM Level O2.

Michael Riley, Architect Associate, BDP

Mike is substantially focused on detailed design and delivery of projects in the transport, education, sports, leisure, residential and arts sectors. As a BIM champion Mike has promoted the use of advanced technology and integrated project information on a wide range of BDP projects. As part of this role he has contributed to the BIM National Toolkit and the NBS Innovation Panel. He has presented BDP schemes to the BRE Accreditation Assessment Board as part of the company BIM Level 2 Certification.

Glenn Tate, Associate, Ryder

Glenn has over 10 years’ experience and maintains a keen interest in digital technologies completing a postgraduate in Building Design Management. Glenn supports the practice in driving BIM development and implementation, regularly contributing to quality management standards and is part of BIM Academy, delivering consultancy, research and training. In 2015 he was part of the winning team in the best multidisciplinary category of the international Build Earth Live competition.
