Our latest research is about construction product information, which we have not researched for several years. We have always been keen to monitor trends in information formats that specifiers find most useful: particularly the trend towards digital forms of data. This is covered in this research, but there are bigger themes underlying this, which have taken on particular significance in the past few years: namely, building safety and environmental sustainability.

In May 2021, NBS hosted two webinars exploring the leading classification, Uniclass 2015, and how it's used across the industry on a range of construction projects. Following the session, several questions were asked by attendees, and we have provided answers.
Recently, the Uniclass 2015 team have been working closely with specialists at the Palace of Westminster to develop additional codes that can be applied to historic items within the Houses of Parliament and elsewhere.
